Jenna Whyte is a native to the Houston area and was introduced to the art of photography after she got her hands on her father's Minolta Maxxum 5000 film camera around 2004. A curiosity turned quickly into an interest and then into hobby. After spending a couple years realizing this wasn't just her hobby but also her love - she moved up north to attend Hallmark Institute of Photography in gorgeous western Massachusetts.

After graduating from the intensive 10 month long program often referred to as an intensive 'boot-camp' for professional photographers, she moved back to Houston, joined Professional Photographers of America and happily prepared to start living her dream as a professional photographer.

After first working in a professional printing lab, she worked for the City of Houston in the Houston Police Department Photo Lab. As a full time staff photographer for 6 years, she picked up infinite experience during her tenure and fine tuned her skills in event, portrait, product, aerial, journalistic, and studio photography along with photo editing and graphic design. Jenna later began a career in the nonprofit industry and still eagerly photographs as a freelancer.

With 12 years of experience in both portrait and commercial photography, she's able to tackle some of the most challenging photographic tasks. She has a unique eye & style in everything she does, but she will always do her best to incorporate parts of your vision into the session as well.

Jenna understands the value of a photograph while we are here to enjoy it and how much more that value can become once it's all that we have left of someone else's journey. We are committed to creating beautiful memories that you will cherish for a lifetime that can be shared for generations. It's our vested interest to make sure that you enjoy each step of your experience with us, from scheduling a consultation to the live session and of course the final products.

We specialize in natural light photography and schedule photographic sessions according to optimal outdoor lighting conditions. If you like Jenna's style of photography & are interested in a light-hearted, positive photographic experience, please contact us today for more information.
